HELP!!!!!!!!!

hi!!
this is the first time i'm doing this but i need some advice:
in like 2 weeks i have to present work (short story or 3 poems) for my class to critique and i have no idea what to do. i think i'm gonna go for the poems cause i'm not gonna have a written and edited piece done by then... but what to pick? i'm thinking "never been pretty" since it seems that people like it but i need two more. Suggestions?
i think i'll try writing more in the next few weeks and see what you guys think but since it's my first time presenting in college with older people there doing critiques i'm kinda psyching myself out so any help is good help!!
